Learning about SDGs at the workshop

On May 28th, Ricoh Japan Co., Ltd. held an SDGs workshop, which was attended by young employees.

As SDG initiatives spread around the world,

the workshop explained the background of the SDGs and related Ricoh Group businesses,

allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the principles and thinking behind the SDGs.

In the second half of the workshop, participants split into small groups to explain their own work, think about Kuno Kinzoku Industry's strengths, and exchange opinions on how these relate to the SDGs.

It was an opportunity to focus on something that we don't usually think about when we're working: "What role does my job play in society?". Also, by talking to people from different departments, I learned what kind of work I'm assigned to do.

Through this workshop, I realized the importance of acting with the SDGs in mind.

I would like to continue thinking about what I can do to contribute to a sustainable society.
