Towards a carbon neutral (2024 edition)

Our company is committed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions in order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. For the fiscal year 2023, we set a goal of reducing emissions by 2% compared to the previous year, with the target emissions per 1 million yen in sales set at 0.33t-CO₂.

How to calculate the target amount

0.34 t-CO₂ (emissions per 1 million yen in sales in fiscal 2022) × (1-0.02) = 0.33 t-CO₂

Efforts made so far

Converting lighting fixtures on the premises to LED

Switching to energy-saving equipment

Installing solar panels on the roof of the Tokoname factory

Raising awareness by holding workshops

 Emissions per 1 million yen in sales in fiscal 2023 were 0.28 t-CO₂, so we were able to achieve our goal.

We will continue our activities to reduce emissions in the future.
