Factory Tour Held as Part of the “IoT and Digital Utilization Factory Tour”

On January 27, as part of the Aichi Prefecture–hosted “IoT and Digital Utilization Factory Tour,” we welcomed visitors to our company for a factory tour.

A total of 23 participants visited our site, including 18 tour participants and 5 members from the organizing office.

During the tour, we provided an approximately 40-minute overview focusing on our IoT initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

We introduced concrete on-site use cases and explained our approach to operational improvements through digital technologies, and the participants observed the tour with great interest.

According to the post-tour questionnaire, 88% of respondents indicated “Satisfied” or “Somewhat satisfied,” reflecting a high level of overall satisfaction.

In addition to manufacturing companies, participants also included organizations from industries such as agriculture and food-related sectors, where IoT adoption has been relatively slow.

We received comments noting that how IoT should be utilized within their own industries remains a future challenge, making this a valuable opportunity to consider the potential of digital utilization across different sectors.

Going forward, we will continue to promote improvement activities through the effective use of IoT and digital technologies.
